Treasury Assistant

On behalf of our Client, we invite applications for the role of Treasury Assistant. This is a Temporary post, required for approximately three (3) months, to assist within the Treasury/Banking function.

The Treasury Assistant will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of financial activities for Insurance Clients, including processing financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and accurate and detailed recordkeeping.


The successful candidate will be a motivated and proactive individual who, in addition to the above, will also be responsible for:

  • The accurate and timely delivery of cash and treasury services to all Clients.
  • Cheque preparation and the inputting of information for electronic payment processes.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger of Client companies.
  • Liaising with Client personnel and service providers.

 The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum two (2) years' Bookkeeping experience within the Re/Insurance industry.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of accounting processes and banking procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • A strong work ethic with the proven ability to demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite of Products and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience with electronic bank processing would be advantageous.
