HR Administrator

On behalf of our Client we invite applications for the position of HR Administrator based in Hamilton City Centre. The HR Administrator will work 25 hours per week and will be primarily focused in the administration of work permit applications.

Responsibilities include: 

  • The preparation and submission of various types of work permits.
  • Liaison with new and existing work permit holders on work permit requirements and form completion.  Liaison with the Department of Immigration as needed.
  • Monitoring work permit renewals and initiating the renewal process with employees.
  • Posting jobs on the firm’s Applicant Tracking System and the Bermuda Job Board.
  • Providing regular updates to the HR Management team regarding work permit applications.
  • Liaison with payroll and other teams regarding new employee work permit status and estimated start date.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks relating to the overseas new hire process and onboarding.
The successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum of two years of general administration experience of which at least one year involved administering work permits and handling Immigration related tasks is preferable.
  • Strong understanding of Bermuda’s Immigration regulations is preferable.
  • A meticulous eye for accuracy and detail.
